Androulla Philippou is a registered clinical dietitian having graduated with a Bachelors in Dietetics from the University of Pretoria. After completing one year of compulsory community service at Heidelberg Hospital, Androulla worked for 3 years as a clinical dietician at the Johannesburg General Hospital, while completing a Masters in Nutrition through Stellenbosch University. In 2008 she moved to London, where she lived for 5 years completing her Ph.D in the Division of Diabetes and Nutritional Sciences of King’s College London. On her return to Johannesburg in 2013 she ran her private practice until moving to George in 2015, where she joined the 4Life LivingDietitians team. Androulla has a special interest in individual and group sessions for patients struggling with weight management, diabetes, insulin resistance, high cholesterol and/or blood pressure. She loves food, understanding that every one of us lives our lives in a unique way, fashioned by our individual likes, dislikes, preferences and motivations. She is married to Basilis.
